I have found that digital newsletters and flyers are useful when providing information to CTE students. Students enjoy being informed about course offerings, apprenticeship opportunities, and updates from former students.  Some examples of information that was designed for students are shown below.

Mailchimp digital newsletter

​Mailchimp can be used as a means of notifying students about information within your department. It can also be used as a personalized means of onboarding new instructors with my department.

canva flyer

Canva is a platform that can be used to engage students in the learning process. It provides a library of resources that can be used for lesson plans, videos, animations, reports, and posters. Lessons can be shared through Canva or via your LMS.

​Canva makes it easy to create a brochure that can be shared electronically or printed for distribution. The Career Preparation Skills brochure was created to inform unemployed adults about an opportunity to attend a mini course teaching skills that are needed in preparation for employment.

Project Based learning plan:  amatrol

​Magic School provides tools and resources for teachers for the learning environment of today. It is a “one stop shop” for AI in education.  This is an example of a lesson plan that was created using Magic School. Teaching requires many hours of preparation for classroom lectures and materials. Lesson plans can be customized quickly with the use of Magic School.
